Helsinki: Movie Screening

Welcome to a screening of a new Palestinian movie, Once Upon a Time in Gaza (2025), in Cinema Orion on Thursday 12.2. at 19:30. The screening is organised by Palcif, Crafts4Gaza and the Finnish-Arab Friendship Society.

Apart from its festival tour, this is the first screening of the movie in Finland. It’s a special opportunity to experience genre-filmmaking by Palestinians. Beneath the surface of action and crime, the film skillfully deals with occupation of Palestine and its historical oppression as well as culture, justice, and friendship. The profits from the screening will be sent to Gaza.
