Palestine Movie Night in Kuopio

Palestine Movie Night Friday 22.11. at 19.30 at Kreatorio (Kuninkaankatu 21, KUOPIO) – free entry 🇵🇸

For Children’s Rights Week we will be watching Flying Paper directed by Nitin Sawhney and Roger Hill. 📺

Flying Paper is the uplifting story of Palestinian children in Gaza on a quest to shatter the Guinness World Record for the most kites ever flown. It showcases the creative resilience of these children making and flying kites despite the odds. The film has been co-produced with young Palestinians in Gaza trained by the filmmakers through a youth media program called Voices Beyond Walls. 🇵🇸

After the movie we will have an open discussion. You can bring your own snacks and (non alcoholic) drinks, Sumud Kuopio will bring some snacks to share! You can also bring a pillow to get comfortable! ✅
