The main responsibilities of the organization assistant include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>planning, coordinating and executing communication in accordance with the communication plan (e.g. social media posts, newsletters)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintaining and updating the website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintaining the online shop (e.g. adding products, shipping orders, and marketing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organising events (e.g. planning the programme, booking the venue)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the organization assistant assists, as agreed, for example with campaign work and the organization of events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We expect the applicant to be well organized, have good teamwork skills, possess strong Finnish and English language skills, and be committed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sumud.fi\/en\/about-us\/\">Sumud\u2019s values and principles<\/a>. An interest in the situation in Palestine and prior experience in similar tasks are considered an asset. <strong>The applicant must be eligible for wage subsidy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The employment will begin on 4th of May 2026 or as agreed. The start date may be affected by the processing time of the wage subsidy application. The duration of the employment is 5-12 months, depending on the length of the applicant\u2019s eligibility for the wage subsidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The position is part-time at 50 % working hours (18 h 45 min per week). The monthly salary is 1 175 \u20ac (Sosiaalialan j\u00e4rjest\u00f6jen ty\u00f6ehtosopimuksen vaativuusryhm\u00e4 4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work is primarily carried out at Sumud\u2019s office in Helsinki.
