Sumud organizes two Palestinian Arabic courses in the spring of 2025. One of the courses is open for anyone interested in learning  Palestinian Arabic, while the other is aimed primarily at Palestinians  and those of Palestinian background. The courses are meant for adult learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level: <\/strong>As a rule, both courses are beginner-level, and participants are not  required to have prior knowledge of the Arabic language. The exact level  of the courses is determined in the course of the registration process,  as organizers aim to form groups with participants on approximately the  same level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Content: <\/strong>The courses focus on Palestinian spoken Arabic and developing oral language skills. In addition, participants will learn  about Palestinian culture, traditions and the Palestinian cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The courses use English as a support language. Both courses are  organized remotely, and fit 10\u201312 students. Participants will receive the course material from the teacher. The courses are taught by Muhammad Abu Ramouz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course fee: <\/strong>30 e per participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course that is open to anyone interested is organized on Fridays  from March 7 to May 16 at 17:30\u201319:00. The course consists of ten  meetings. There is no meeting on April 18 due to Easter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the limited amount of places for participants, we cannot guarantee a spot for everyone registered. The participants are selected based on their responses on the registration form. Please make sure to fill in the form carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will inform everyone registered of the course selections by February 21.
