Welcome to celebrate ICAHD Finland’s 15th anniversary with Sumud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The theme is ICAHD Finland’s 15-year history, ICAHD’s history in Israel, and forward-looking decolonization and one democratic state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be two guest talks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nadia Naser-Najjab is a Senior lecturer in Palestine Studies at the University of Exeter. Her presentation is titled “The Mirage of the two-state Solution – Future Prospects”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jeff Halper is the Director of ICAHD. His lecture is titled “From Genocide in Gaza to One Democratic State”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other speakers are Veronika Honkasalo (Member of Parliament, Left Alliance), Bruno J\u00e4ntti (Founder of ICAHD Finland) and Syksy R\u00e4s\u00e4nen (Chair of ICAHD Finland and Vice-chair of Sumud).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is in English and free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The venue is Tekstin talo, Parvisali, in Helsinki and the time is 17:00-20:00 on November 18, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
