Webinar: The Future of Palestine and the Future for Palestine

What is the future like for Palestine? What can we do for a future free Palestine? Welcome to discuss these questions at Sumud’s webinar on Monday, October 6, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Participating in the discussion will be Bruno Jäntti, PhD researcher in Global Politics at the University of Helsinki, and Iiris Pajunen, Finnish-Palestinian activist and chair of Sumud Tampere.

Bruno Jäntti’s introduction will discuss the future of Palestine from a geopolitical perspective. How likely are the different scenarios, for example of a two-state solution? What kind of roles and interests do different actors have? How can Finland influence the future of Palestine?

Iris Pajunen examines the question of the future of activism. Which forms of activism and organising are fruitful? What lessons have the last 2 years brought? How to maintain motivation for Palestine activism in the long term?
