The Encampments – Screening & discussion with Omar Barghouti

BDS Finland and Cinema Orion invite you to the Finnish premiere of the documentary The Encampments.

Through exclusive footage and intimate interviews, THE ENCAMPMENTS provides an unprecedented look at one of the most significant student movements in modern history. The film captures the passion, resilience, and challenges faced by students who risked everything to demand justice.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion centered around young people’s activism, academic and cultural boycott, and university encampments in Finland. The panel includes a very special participation from Omar Barghouti, Co-Founder of the Palestinian-led BDS movement, as well as Students for Palestine activist Vilja Hermansson and Researchers Antti Tarvainen and Nitin Sawhney.

The ticket sales money will be donated to Sumud the Finnish-Palestine network and allocated
for campaigning and raising awareness about BDS.
