Tampere: Books and Encounters

Sumud Tampere and KSL Study Centre will organise a book club on Thursday, April 17, at 5-6:45 p.m. in Kumppanuustalo Artteli (Mustanlahdenkatu 22, Tampere). The topic of the book club and an open discussion is identity and art. The guest of the event is Noora Dadu who is a Palestinian-Finnish actor, writer and the chair of Sumud.

We will be discussing Noora Dadu’s book Minun Palestiinani ja Fail (2022). The questions revolve around art and identity: can art reach beyond international conflicts and identity?

Warm welcome to participate in the discussion and to learn new things in a good company. You don’t need to read the book to participate as the focus is on having an open discussion around the topics. Discussion is in Finnish and English as needed.
