Helsinki: Q&A – Queers and Ancestors

The stage work Q&A – Queers and Ancestors by Noora Dadu, Moe Mustafa and Lina Jarallah at Teatteri Takomo, in Helsinki. The performance starts with three people put together in a panel discussion on Palestine and Queerness, where they are expected to explain their existence, but how existence could be explained if there is no safe space available in any society.

The performers explore the ideology of rubbing gaze, how these panelists are looked at and from what perspective. The performance unfolds the act of shaking off as a form of resistance and anchoring the body in an unknown landscape.
