Helsinki: Preview Screening of The Voice of Hind Rajab

Refugee Film Festival and Future Film organise a preview screening of the film The Voice of Hind Rajab on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Cinema Orion (Eerikinkatu 15, Helsinki).

January 2024. The Palestine Red Crescent receives a heartbreaking emergency call from six-year-old Hind Rajab, who is trapped in a car, wrecked in Israeli gunfire in Gaza. A desperate rescue operation begins, during which the organization’s employees do everything they can to get the girl to safety.

Director Kaouther Ben Hania once again mixes fact and fiction in a startling way. The emergency calls are real recordings, which brings the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip to the viewer’s skin in a shocking way.

After the film there will be small speeches by Majed Abusalama from Sumud and Iina Gyldén from Health for Palestine Finland.
