Helsinki: Pots and Pans – March Against the Genocide
Palestinian Community in Finland and Finnish-Arab Friendship Society will organise a Pots and Pans march against the genocide on Saturday, July 12, at 3 pm at the Railway Station Square in Helsinki.
Gaza is starving – Save Gaza’s children!
Join us in demanding justice and showing solidarity for the suffering children of Gaza. We can not be silent while Palestinians are being starved! Bring a little pot, pan, spoon or some other cutlery with you.
The march will move to the Helsinki Market Square where we will hear a speech about the situation in Gaza and about the urgent actions required to stop the genocide.
Sumud is a supporter of the demonstration.
- The police is present to secure safety.
- Racist, sexist and other discriminatory symbols and slogans are prohibited.
- There will be de-escalators at the demonstration who you can turn to if you feel unsafe or something worries you.
- There will also be chanters whose chants you can join but you can also take part in the demonstration silently if that feels more natural. All ways of being present are valuable.
- Bring signs, friends and a voice for justice with you!
