Helsinki: Helsinki: Conversations on Cultural Boycotts

BDS Finland will organise a Conversations on Cultural Boycott event on Friday, September 12, at 5-8 pm, at Parvisali on the 6th floor of Tekstin talo (Lintulahdenkatu 3, Helsinki).

We will gather up with artists and other professionals in cultural field in Mad House Helsinki to discuss the topic of cultural boycotts and explore how art and culture can play a powerful role in advancing the movement.

As previously announced, we are honored to have Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the Palestinian-led BDS movement, as our guest speaker. We will also hear about local campaings in the Finnish field of cultural boycotts such as Flow Strike, Finland Against Apartheid, EurovisiOFF and Apartheid Free Zone. After introductions there will be space for all of us to ask questions and engage in conversations around the topics.

The event is free of charge and there is no sign up.
