Helsinki: Joint Action

JOINT ACTION: Together Against Genocide – Peace For Sudan and Palestine on Saturday, November 15, at 3 pm, at the Railway Square in Helsinki.

The action is organised by Civil Solidarity Movement for Palestine and Sudan and it is supported by Palcif, Sudanese Community in Finland, Sumud Helsinki, Global Movement for Gaza, Arab-Finnish Friendship Society, Health for Palestine Finland, Crafts4Gaza and Students for Palestine.

From Sudan to Palestine, millions have been resisting genocide for over two years. In Sudan, despite the heroic efforts of local communal kitchens, over 20 millions are facing acute food insecurity. In Palestine, over 2 millions in Gaza endure bombardment, forced starvation and siege with steadfast Sumud, while violent repression escalates in the West Bank.

While the ceasefire has been violated over 50 times in Gaza, the genocide continues with impunity in Darfur, Sudan. It is time for us to stand together to demand peace and liberation for Sudan and Palestine from all forms of Western imperialism enabling these atrocities.
