Helsinki: Human Chain Against Genocide

Palestinian Community in Finland, Finnish-Arab Friendship Society and Sumud Helsinki will organise a human chain against genocide on Monday, June 16, 5 pm at by City Center in Kaivokatu, Helsinki.

Join us in forming a human chain against the genocide in Gaza. Let’s stand together and show that we do not accept violence, occupation, or apartheid!

Police will be present to ensure safety at the event. Racist, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory symbols and slogans are not allowed. De-escalators will be present — you can approach them if you feel unsafe or have any concerns.

There will also be chant leaders guiding collective slogans — but you are equally welcome to protest silently if that feels more natural. Every way of being present is valuable.
