Helsinki: Festival of Resistance(s)
The Festival of Resistance(s) on Tuesday, May 27, from 11 a.m. onwards at the Kansalaistori Square in Helsinki.
The Festival of Resistance(s) is a free and open, one-day event that acts as a platform for joining the voices of artists and various Non-Governmental Organizations in a call for a socially sustainable future and discussion on how the themes of (de)colonialism and human rights connect with justice and peace.
Centered around the theme of resistance to occupation, the festival aims to raise awareness of occupied territories, minds, and bodies around the world that are denied their right to self-determination – an integral element of basic human rights (UN).
