Helsinki: Café Palestine
Sumud Helsinki and Palcif welcomes you to join the October Café Palestine on Sunday 5.10. in Kulttuurikeskus Oranssi.
Address: Kaasutehtaankatu 1, Suvilahti, Helsinki.
The café opens at 16.00 and the info session begins at 17.00. This time we’ll learn about protester’s rights at an hour-long session. This is a good opportunity to learn about our rights and hold on to them in coming protests. We see how protesters in Germany are being beaten by police and even deported. As long as we have our rights to protest we need to defend them and use them!
From 18.00 free discussions and more sage tea!
The café closes at 19.00.
We offer coffee, tea and snacks. If you want, you are welcome to bring something to share. Bring your friends and family! Children are very welcome.
Accessibility:
The Oranssi entrance, event facilities and toilet are at street level, and they can also accommodate larger aids. However, a few higher thresholds and sloping ramps may be a bit difficult for manual wheelchair users, for example. The toilets are gender-neutral.
