Word village festival: Free Free Palestine – why there can be no freedom without decolonisation?

What does a free Palestine mean, and what does freedom mean for Palestinians in the wake of colonialism, apartheid, illegal occupation, and genocide? Why does the realisation of the indigenous people’s freedom and rights require decolonisation that is, the dismantling of colonial rule?

Lina Jarallah, Vice Chair of the Finnish Palestine Network discusses the significance of decolonisation and freedom for Palestinians as well as why Finns and those who benefit from Israeli colonialism should advocate for Palestinian freedom. The discussion will be moderated by Sumud Advocacy Coordinator Lili De Paola.
