Tampere: Demonstration
Tampere with Palestine and Sumud Tampere will organise a Boycott Eurovision & UMK protest on Saturday, February 28, at 6-7 pm, next to Sorin aukio, by the side of Hatanpää valtatie, in Tampere. The demonstration will gather at the Sorin aukio F bustops.
The UMK final will be held the same night at Nokia Arena. Lets make noise and bring more people to boycott with us! We do not accept sharing any events, cultural or otherwise, with war criminals undermining international laws on a daily basis. Set the standards higher! Israel OUT!
Our demands:
- Israel must not be allowed to participate in Eurovision.
- Yle must take a stance against the war crimes of Israel by boycotting Eurovision.
- UMK winner must not continue to Eurovision, but instead boycott with us until international laws are respected on world arenas.
- EBU must take a stance against Israel’s war crimes by banning its participation until international laws are followed and respected.
